James Wild MP joins in celebrations for 818th Mart opening
This week, James Wild MP was part of the official procession to open the 818th Lynn Mart.
James took part in the opening of the Mart and joined in the fun by having a go on the dodgems and helter-skelter.
Spanning more than 800 years, the Mart has been returning to the centre of Lynn on an annual basis. It was granted a Royal charter by King Henry VIII in 1537 and traditionally opens on Valentine's Day.

The Mart has hundreds of years of history behind it and the brilliant turnout shows the opening continues to be a landmark date celebrated in Lynn.
It was great fun to have a go on the dodgems and there’s plenty for people to come and enjoy and celebrate our heritage.

Monday 19th -12noon - 10pm - Children's day when most rides are priced £1.50
