Five parks in King's Lynn and Hunstanton have been recognised in the prestigious Green Flag Awards after achieving the international quality mark for parks and green spaces.
Parks included in the recognisied green spaces are:
- The Walks King's Lynn
- Boston Square Sensory Garden Hunstanton
- Heritage Gardens Hunstanton
- Tower Gardens King's Lynn
- Mintlyn Crematorium
The Green Flag Award scheme, managed by environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy under licence from the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government, recognises and rewards well-managed parks and green spaces, setting the benchmark standard for the management of green spaces across the United Kingdom and around the world.
