James Wild MP has welcomed the full resumption of the West Lynn Ferry service, reconnecting communities across the River Great Ouse from Monday 11 August 2025.
Following essential safety repairs to the landings and supporting infrastructure, passengers can once again enjoy this convenient and historic mode of transport between West Lynn and King’s Lynn.
The ferry operates from Monday to Saturday, with the first crossing at 7am and the last at 6pm. During peak hours (7am - 9am and 5pm - 6pm), the ferry will run continuously. From 9am to 5pm, it departs every 20 minutes - on the hour, 20 minutes past, and 20 minutes to the hour.
Ticket prices are:
- Adult single: £1.60
- Adult return: £2.60
- Child single: £1.20
- Child return: £2.00
