James Wild MP welcomes Council’s support for St George’s Guildhall project as “Game Changer” for King’s Lynn and West Norfolk

On 17 July there was an extraordinary council meeting to consider the Guildhall proposals as part of the £25 million Town Deal agreed with the last government

James Wild MP said:

“I’m very pleased that the Borough Council of King's Lynn & West Norfolk News & Events councillors overwhelmingly backed the ambition of the St. George's Guildhall project tonight.

This is a game changer for King's Lynn and West Norfolk economically, culturally, and educationally. Huge amounts of work by the officers, councillors, and Town Board (now Plan for Neighbourhood Board) over many years have brought us to the point of making it a success. Play on!”
