James Wild MP has highlighted the importance of Special Educational Needs (SEND) funding now more than ever to meet every child's needs.
During a statement on the changes for schools, colleges, and university that will apply from step four, James called for the Education Secretary to ensure that as part of the education recovery plan and with a view to the Spending Review schools receive the SEND funding that is required now more than ever. His comments follow a recent visit to Ashwicken C of E Primary School where he discussed the challenges for children with special education needs following the loss of education during Covid and the importance of additional help with reading and other learning.
