James Wild MP has called on the government to provide confirmation that all Park Home residents will benefit from the extended £150 energy discount.

Speaking in the House of Commons, James pressed the Minister for Energy Security and Net Zero, Miatta Fambulleh MP, to clarify whether funding for this support will be uncapped to ensure that every eligible resident, including those who pay their energy bills directly to site owners, receives the payment.

Park Homes residents face unique challenges due to their billing arrangements, which can delay or prevent access to energy support. James’ intervention highlights the urgent need for transparency and fairness so that all residents, regardless of how they pay, can access vital cost-of-living support.

This call for clarity builds on James’s ongoing efforts to support Park Home residents, including previous parliamentary questions on fees and charges.

James Wild MP said:

“Can the Minister confirm that Park Homes residents in North West Norfolk and across the country who pay their bills directly to site owners will benefit from the extended £150 discount, and that funding will not be limited so everyone entitled receives this payment?”

Minister for Energy Security and Net Zero, Miatta Fambulleh MP, responded:

“Thank you to the honourable member for a really good question about Park Homes. Park Homes are currently supported through industry initiatives like the Warm Homes Discount. We will continue to ensure Park Homes are supported. We recognise some customers are not yet receiving it, and we are working with industry to resolve that.”
