James met charities including the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB), Marie Curie, Guide Dogs, Dementia UK, British Heart Foundation, and Cancer Research UK. James also met several organisations and businesses in North West Norfolk such as the NFU and how he is committed to backing British farming and food security, City Fibre on plans to connect more homes and businesses to gigabit broadband, and the National Grid, where James set out strong local concern to about the Grimsby to Walpole grid upgrade project.

Speaking after conference James Wild MP said:

“In the lead-up to the conference, I was contacted by many constituents on key issues that matter to them. I made a point to visit every charity and business stand raised with me and is involved in supporting our local community. Conference is an excellent opportunity to connect directly with those helping people locally, raise concerns and issues for constituents, and promote North West Norfolk.
