James Wild MP featured as a guest on Sky News to discuss the pressures facing families from rising inflation, tax increases, and illegal migration.
He highlighted that under the current government inflation has nearly doubled to 3.8% in July 2025, driven by transport, fuel, and food, costs. James also warned that the Chancellor looks set to increase taxes further in the Autumn Budget which will weaken growth and drive up borrowing.
On illegal migration, with over 50,000 arrivals in the past year, he highlighted the need for stronger border controls, faster removals, and more safe returns agreements, while reducing reliance on hotels for asylum seekers.
