James Wild MP gave his immediate response to the Budget on Talk TV, warning that the Chancellor has opted for higher taxes and higher welfare spending at a time when families and businesses are already under pressure.
He highlighted how Labour’s approach leaves hard working families footing the bill while offering no credible plan for savings, and set out the Conservatives’ plan which identifies £47 billion of savings, controls spending, lives within the country’s means, and backs businesses to grow and invest.
