James Wild MP is urging local people to attend a Special Jobs Fair being held as part of the Love West Norfolk campaign on Wednesday 22 July 2026.
The Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) event will take place from 10am to 12pm and will bring together jobseekers and employers to highlight current vacancies and career opportunities across the area.
The event at the Chapel Street Job Centre in King’s Lynn forms part of the wider Love West Norfolk campaign, which celebrates the people, places and opportunities that make North West Norfolk special.
James has worked with a number of the businesses attending the Love West Norfolk Jobs Fair through his work with Norfolk for Jobs, helping to build strong links between employers and local people looking for work.
James said:
“I’m delighted to see the Special Jobs Fair taking place as part of Love West Norfolk. Through Norfolk for Jobs, I know many of the business leaders taking part in the event, we’ve held discussions on issues like youth unemployment and disability confidence in the workplace. This is a great opportunity for people to get in direct contact with the excellent employers we have in the region.”
