On Thursday 15 May, James Wild MP joined Chris Goreham on BBC Radio Norfolk to discuss the financial challenges facing King’s Lynn Town FC and other non-league clubs and to outline the action he is taking in Parliament to support them.

In Parliament James has highlighted the impact of outstanding Covid Sport Survival Loans issued to 34 clubs, including King’s Lynn on the viability of clubs. He called on the Culture Secretary to support fans and clubs to ensure their long term sustainability.

The interview came ahead of the Blue and Gold Supporters’ Trust Special General Meeting with fans to discuss its financial outlook. In light of these pressures, James is planning to meet officials and ministers along with the club to help deliver a more sustainable future for the Linnets and other non-league clubs across the country.
