James Wild MP - Energy Infrastructure Survey

jw

From speaking to residents in the Walpole and West Walton area, I know there are strong concerns about planned major energy infrastructure projects which I share.

Eastern Green Link 3 & 4 would involve building two large converter stations and a new substation as part of upgrades to the national electricity grid.  The Grimsby to Walpole project would see a 90 mile transmission line built with pylons up to 50 metres high.

To find out more about the plans visit National Grid’s website:

These proposals could have a lasting impact on the local landscape, as well as involving years of construction. I want to hear your views on how these plans may affect you and the area so I can continue to raise these issues in Parliament and with the developers to ensure local strong concerns are reflected.
